Early in June I was contacted by Katie Rouse, a cocktail master at Couch Stirchley. She was independently competing in the final of World Class Drinks International Cocktail Competition. She was looking for a local artist to produce a full colour landscape label printed for a 200ml bottle.

She was inspired by a story that world famous chef Asma Khan told on her episode of Netflix’s Chefs Table. The artwork would be of the iconic Darjeeling Express train in the 1980s, depicting a childhood memory of Asma Khan, sticking her head out the window shouting her name into the mountains.
